Continental Classics Chilli Con Carne Recipe Base is the perfect way to create a delicious and easy meal the whole family will enjoy. This Chilli Con Carne recipe base makes a mildly spiced mince dish with tomatoes and beans that serves four people. Chilli Con Carne has never been this easy or tasty!

All our Continental Recipe Bases contain no artificial colours or flavours, and are made with carefully selected ingredients to create a perfectly balanced flavour for your favourite dish. This Chilli Con Carne Recipe Base is made with responsibly grown Australian tomatoes, as well as onion and paprika.

All you need is beef mince, tomatoes and red kidney beans to have dinner ready in no time. With just 5 mins prep and 20 mins cooking time, you can have food on the table in less than 30 mins. It's delicious served with steamed rice, a dollop of light sour cream and avocado. You can even top it off with some fresh coriander leaves.

Ingredients

Corn starch, vegetable powders [tomato^ (20%), onion], natural flavours (contain wheat), sugar, mineral salt (potassium chloride), paprika, maltodextrin, yeast extract, vegetable oil, salt, vegetable gum (xanthan). ^Made with sustainably grown tomatoes. Contains naturally occurring glutamates.

Preparation Instructions

Just add... 2 teaspoon oil 500g lean minced beef 1 pack Continental Recipe Base 1x400g can chopped tomatoes 1x400g can red kidney beans, drained 1/4 cup (60mL) water Preparation time: 5 minutes Cooking time: 20 minutes Simply... 1. Heat oil in a medium saucepan or frying pan and brown mince. 2. Add Recipe Base, tomatoes, beans and water; stir to combine. 3. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until mince is cooked, stirring occasionally. Serve with rice, light sour cream, diced tomato and avocado. Here's an idea... Fill a baked jacket potato with Chilli Con Carne, top with grated cheese and serve with a tossed salad.
